The app is free. The brains are not.

You put your own keys in a local .env file. Anthropic (Claude) and Groq bill you under their prices. Spoken replies use Microsoft Edge TTS.

You need

  • Windows 10 or 11
  • Python 3.10+
  • A microphone
  • Anthropic key (required) and Groq key (speech)
  • Optional: Chrome extension in the repo

Run

  1. Clone or unzip the GitHub repo.
  2. Create a venv and install requirements.txt.
  3. Copy .env.example to .env and paste your keys.
  4. python -u main.py — speak, or hold F9. Say quit to exit.

Chrome extension (optional)

In Chrome: Extensions → Load unpacked → choose the chrome-extension folder in the repo. Aemyos still works without it, with keyboard and screen.
